Custom tailoring at the Naupada studio, 12 to 15 days
These terms cover buying from Ekdant Men Ethnic Studio, in the studio or on this site. Plain language, and the parts that limit what you can expect from us are stated as plainly as the parts that favour us.
Last updated 30 July 2026
This site is operated by Ekdant Men Ethnic Studio, a men's ethnic and groom wear studio trading since 2022 from Shop No 1, Ground Floor, Suraj Premises, Ram Maruti Road, Opposite Garden Store, Naupada, Thane West, Maharashtra 400602, India.
You can reach us on +91 84510 01500, on WhatsApp at the same number, or at ekdantethnicstudio@gmail.com. The studio is open every day, 10 am to 9:30 pm.
The registered entity name and GST registration number are being finalised and will be published here, on invoices and in this section as soon as they are. Until then the trading name and studio address above are the correct particulars for any correspondence, and no tax invoice issued by us should be treated as a GST invoice.
Using this site, placing an order, or asking us to make something to your measurements means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.
You must be at least 18 and capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act 1872. If you are ordering on behalf of someone else, which for wedding wear is common, you confirm you are authorised to do so and that the measurements and delivery details you give us are correct.
We photograph real garments, not renders. Even so, a screen is not a fitting room: colour, sheen and the weight of a fabric read differently on a phone, and a hand-embroidered motif is never identical twice. Small variation between the photograph and the piece you receive is a normal characteristic of hand work, not a defect.
Sizes on the rail follow the run stated on each product page. Fit is confirmed in person for anything made to measure. We do not guarantee a fit we have not measured ourselves.
Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless a page says otherwise. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you pay.
We may correct an obvious pricing or description error even after an order is placed. If a correction affects your order we will contact you first, and you can confirm the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. We will never quietly charge you more than you agreed.
Online payment is handled by our payment gateway, which is where card, UPI and net banking details are entered. Those details are never seen or stored by this site or by the studio. Cash on delivery is available on eligible orders.
An order you place is an offer to buy. The sale is made when we confirm the order, not when you press the button. Until then we may decline it, in full or in part, and the usual reasons are unremarkable: the last piece in that size just sold in the shop, the delivery address is outside where our courier goes, or we cannot reach you to confirm details.
If we decline an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full. Nothing is kept for the trouble.
Dispatched in 24 to 48 hours of a confirmed order, delivered across India. Made to measure takes 12 to 15 days from the fitting, because the garment is cut after we have your measurements.
Delivery timelines are honest estimates, not guarantees. A courier delay, a strike, a flood or a public holiday can move a date, and we will tell you when one does. Wedding dates do not move, so if your event is close, say so before you order and we will tell you plainly whether it can be done.
Ready-to-wear comes back within 14 days if it is unworn, unaltered and still tagged, and we pay the return shipping. Made to measure is cut for one person and is not returnable for a change of mind. An order can be cancelled within 10 days of being placed, and earlier is better once cutting has started.
The full terms, including the two situations where a made-to-measure piece is our problem rather than yours, are on the returns and refunds page, which forms part of these terms. Approved refunds reach you within 14 working days.
Do not do any of the following, which we mention because they are the ones that happen:
The photographs, garment descriptions, the name Ekdant and the tusk mark are ours. You may share a product page freely. You may not reuse the imagery or copy commercially without written permission.
If you send us a reference photograph, a measurement, a review or a message, you confirm it is yours to send and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You allow us to use it for the purpose you sent it for, which for a reference photo means making your garment, and for a review means showing it on the site.
We will not publish a photograph of you, or a review with your name on it, without your agreement.
We are responsible for the garment being what we described and for the service we agreed to. Where we get that wrong, we put it right: repair, re-stitch, replace or refund.
We are not responsible for loss that does not follow from the garment itself. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, or our liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it corrected or deleted is set out in the privacy policy, written against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Measurements are personal data and are treated as such.
Tell us first, on WhatsApp or by phone. Most problems are settled the same day by the people who sold you the garment.
For a formal complaint, write to ekdantethnicstudio@gmail.comwith "Grievance" in the subject, or call +91 84510 01500 and ask for the grievance officer. As required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, we acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30days of receiving it. The grievance officer's name will be published here alongside the registered entity particulars.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Thane, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is when they last changed, and the terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it. A change that materially affects an order already placed will be told to you directly, not left here to be discovered.
